FMD-Be is a patient association created in 2016 by a small group of patients.

Our objectives – we aim to provide accurate and up to date information on Fibromuscular Dysplasia for patients and their families. We would also like to put in place a support network for those newly diagnosed and for those of us living with FMD.

We are supported in our efforts by Prof. Alexandre Persu ( UCL) and Prof.Patricia Van der Niepen (VUB).

FMD-Be is the nucleus of Euro-FMD, a European patient network created in 2019 and supported by a Scientific Committee from the European/International FMD Registry and Initiative (FEIRI).
